Supporting Children, Teens, Adults, Couples, and Families with Practical Counselling for Stronger Relationships, Greater Resilience, and Lasting Change
Life can occasionally feel overwhelming. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, family conflict, relationship challenges, parenting stress, trauma, or feeling stuck, you don’t have to face it alone.
Jacqueline Hemmings is a Registered Provisional Psychologist who provides warm, practical, and participative counselling for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families in Calgary. She believes significant change begins when people feel listened to, understood, and supported.
Before becoming a psychologist, Jacqueline spent more than twenty years working as an educator and mentor. Throughout her career, she helped children, adolescents, parents, and families manage stress, emotional challenges, conflict, learning difficulties, and life transitions. Today she brings that calm, compassionate, encouraging approach into the therapy room, helping clients cope, communicate, and connect more effectively.
Jacqueline understands that every person has a unique story. Rather than offering one-size-fits-all solutions, she works closely with clients to understand what is happening beneath the surface and develop practical strategies that support lasting change. Her goal is to help clients go beyond simply surviving toward greater confidence, resilience, and psychological health.

Beau, one cat: Nora and two aquarium frogs: Jordan Jr., Nola and Froggy.
